The Passion Behind TPSODANCE
Miss Tracy
Principal
Miss Tracy had a passion for dance from the age of 4 and started training at 'The Brenda Taylor School Of Dance' in Essex. She then went on to pursue her career attending 'The Centre Performing Arts College' on a full - time scholarship. At the Centre, she gained a diploma in dance and obtained full DDI qualifications in teaching for ISTD Ballet, Tap & Modern. She then went on to further her qualifications attending 'Dance Teachers Inc' and obtaining full DDE qualifications. Since leaving college, Miss Tracy has taught at many schools and was given the opportunity to run her own dance school in 2012. This is where the journey of TPSODANCE began. Miss Tracy has always loved to dance and shares a huge passion for styles in all genres including Contemporary, Lyrical and Jazz. She achieved many ISTD examinations throughout her years of training and at advanced levels. Her passion for teaching dance and appreciation of technique is the driving force for a happy and successful school.
Miss Jasmine
Street / Hip Hop / Commercial Teacher
Jasmine has trained in many dance styles from the young age of 4. She first gained skills in Ballet, Tap & Modern classes but later found her passion was Commercial/ Hip Hop and Ballroom & Latin. Jasmine competed in many team and solo events in these styles, including the British National Formation Latin Championships in Blackpool up until the age of 16. From there she competed with a partner but later decided her passion was to develop her dance skills at The Centre Performing Arts college; training in musical theatre & dance. At college Jasmine developed professional training and was able to take part in events such as MOVE IT and many other performances.
Since leaving college, Jasmine further trained with the Runway House Company and was handpicked in 2018 for the Army of Hood Heels MOVE IT piece. She has recently danced in five promotional events with the West End cast of 'Six the Musical'. Jasmine has always loved teaching at many schools since leaving college in street dance & commercial styles and assisted teaching children Ballroom and Latin up until January 2020. She continues to have a passion in teaching and training the children of TPSODANCE.
Miss Natalie
Performing Arts Teacher & Vocal Coach
Miss Natalie started dancing at a school very similar to TPSODANCE at the age of 3 and loved nothing more than being on a stage. She pursued her training further in Performing Arts gaining a Diploma with Distinction before attending college at The Centre. Natalie was honoured with the award of Performer of the Year upon her graduation and left proudly with teaching qualifications. She began singing with a vocal group called Harmony. Harmony is a group made up of 10 female vocalists who sing in close harmony and enjoy singing music from classic to modern day artists with a live pianist. Natalie was classically trained from the age of 10 by the amazing Joan Bigwood which is where she was taught the fundamentals of singing. A fond memory of hers was being part of a professional tribute act for the Spice Girls where she played the role of Mel C giving her the opportunity to sing live to large audiences across the circuit. In her own words 'It is a pleasure to be able to pass my knowledge onto the Performing Arts students of TPSODANCE and nurture these budding stars'.
Miss Leanne
Volunteer Class Assistant / Chaperone
Miss Leanne has been a volunteer helper at TPSODANCE since 2012. She holds a full DBS and Chaperone License which is updated regularly. Miss Leanne is a class assistant in the Pre Primary classes and strives for our students and school to succeed. She assists at every event and helps to organise behind the scenes with a friendly and loving attitude. A very committed member of TPSODANCE.
